CORGI Fenestration scheme

CORGI Fenestration is a fully licenced business working with CORGI Services and will bring all the known and associated attributes of the CORGI brand to the industry.

Liniar became the first systems house to achieve formal registration to the scheme and have access to the most recognised consumer mark in the industry. Find out more here.

 

British Plastics Federation

Established in 1933, the British Plastics Federation (BPF) is the principal trade association for the UK plastics industry. Liniar is a member of the BPF, the logo representing a seal of industry approval.

 

Secured by Design

Secured by Design is a police-backed initiative, with this status being awarded to products designed with exceptional security features as their main priority.

Liniar products that qualify to hold this certification are tested to meet the requirements of the Association of Chief Police Officers.

 

BBA Approval

The BBA (British Board of Agrement) is the UK’s major authority offering approval of construction products, systems and installers.

Their certificates are recognised by architects, engineers and specifiers as an impartial and unbiased review on the performance of products, and Liniar holds a certificate for the whole window system.

 

BS EN ISO 9001:2015

Liniar’s factory has achieved BS EN ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, meeting British Standards for a quality management system.

The standard is based on a number of principles including a strong customer focus, management motivation, the process approach and continuous improvement.

By continuing to meet this standard, Liniar customers benefit from consistently great products and service.

 

BS ISO 14001:2015 EMS         

Liniar has been certified for the BSI (British Standards Institute) ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS).

 

PAS24

This accreditation is part of the British Standards system and shows the product has been subjected to a series of tests, demonstrating enhanced security performance, air and water tightness and wind loading to BS6375 for peace of mind.

 

BS EN 12608:2016

BS EN 12608:2016 is the standard of quality, consistency and performance required for UPVC extruded hollow profiles.

Products are regularly tested to ensure that they continue to meet these standards.

 

Build Check – Folding Sliding Doors

Build Check is an independent testing and certification company which operates throughout the UK and Europe and has become a highly respected provider within the marketplace, operating a management and quality system conforming to ISO/IEC 17025 (Testing) and BS EN 17065 (Product Certification) and accredited by UKAS and the BFRC.

The Folding Sliding Door scheme has been launched by Build Check to raise the standards of bi-folding doors in the UK.

There are three main sections to the test. Each product is put through 5,000 cycles by Build Check’s articulated robot, weather tested to 800 pascals (a wind speed of more than 80mph) and able to achieve a minimum U-value of 1.8.

Liniar’s ModLok™ Bi-fold was the first product to successfully meet the stringent requirements.

 

BS476:Part7:1997

Liniar’s deckboards have obtained a Class 1 Fire Test Certificate to BS476:Part7:1997.

BS7976:Part2:2002

Liniar’s deckboards have been tested to BS7976:Part 2:2002, finding that slip resistance was good in both wet and dry conditions.

BS EN 660-2:1999 and BS EN 428:1993

Liniar’s deckboards have been tested for wear resistance to both these standards.
