Glazing Options

Glazing options

Liniar’s conservatory roof kits are available in a wide range of glazing solutions.

4-16-4mm Double glazing options

All Liniar supplied units come with quality warm edge spacer bars, toughened Low E glass and a thermally efficient U-value of 1.2.

Optional coatings on the outer pane can provide self-cleaning or solar control properties.

For any situation where excessive heat loss is a concern, we are able to offer a higher specification unit, with U-values as low as 1.0 – the ultimate in thermal insulation for conservatory glazing.

With our self-cleaning glass options, organic dirt from exterior surfaces is broken down and washed away using natural daylight and rainwater, making it ideal for hard to clean areas.

Available in Clear, Blue or Bronze, these are recommended for roofs with a sloping angle of 10° or greater for maximum performance.

Our ultimate glazing specification Sunshield combines the self-cleaning properties with greater solar control performance, creating a cool and comfortable environment during hot weather.

All Liniar supplied polycarbonate glazing features a reflective skin, blocking 99% of UV radiation, along with a thermally efficient 1.2 U-value.

Choose between 25mm and 32mm thick multi-wall polycarbonate for a lightweight roof with excellent impact resistance and a Class 1 BS 476/7 fire rating, available in Clear, Opal or Bronze.

The Heatguard/Opal tint option offers a multi-layered dual colour sheet, with a co-extruded heat reflective layer in the outer surface, which reduces solar transmission by up to 50% compared with standard tint material.

Solar inserts are also available as an optional extra for even greater solar protection.
