The worldwide supply restrictions, combined with continued and sustained high demand for home improvement products across the UK, have led to extended lead times across the entire fenestration industry – with Liniar products being no exception.
Liniar does not manufacture finished glazed (fenestration) products – they are made by specialised, independent fabricators all over the UK. The global shortages we are all experiencing not only relate to the raw materials used in PVCu components, but also for steel, aluminium, glass, hardware and more – all of which are adversely affecting the fabricators’ ability to deliver finished Liniar goods to installers and homeowners.
Liniar has communicated all operational updates, along with any profile or component delays, to its customer base on a weekly basis throughout the pandemic, and will continue to do so.
