Liniar’s enhanced security for Bi-Fold Plus range

The master door lock has been upgraded to include a combination of hook bolts, shoot bolts and a centre dead bolt. The new locking mechanism locates securely into a new, one-piece keep, offering homeowners real peace of mind.

The new lock and keep are adjustable at every location point, making those final installation tweaks that much easier and quicker. The new keep doesn’t need any routing of outer frame and sits neatly in the centre recess.
It doesn’t even need to be removed on installation, as there are removable pockets to fix behind, making fabrication and installation that much simpler.
The new security enhancements are just some of the pioneering design features that make the Bi-Fold Plus range stand out from other uPVC folding-sliding doors.
Recent innovations include the introduction of new hardware which offer improved operation, quality and a black finish option; the ultra-low threshold – which has been approved for Part M building regulations – at just 24mm is the lowest uPVC threshold on the market today and much lower than the traditional bulky thresholds offered by other uPVC bi-fold door suppliers.
Concealed hardware creates easy on the eye clean lines, whilst slim frames create a larger glass area to let more light in and improve the energy efficiency. And with a wide range of opening options (in external and internally opening configurations) they can be installed in a wide variety of situations.Adrian Redshaw, Liniar’s Design Director, comments: “We have been delighted with the customer feedback we have received on the Bi-fold Plus products, and we are striving to make it even better, there will be more to follow.”
