Being able to supply such energy efficient frames without needing additional costly thermal inserts has been a real boost to TruFrame’s sales. The windows can easily achieve a Window Energy Rating of A+8, and by fitting them with the Yale shoot bolt locking mechanism, the window becomes incredibly secure too.
Sales of the window system have grown month on month by 20% and the Bi-Fold Plus range of doors has been a real star performer – growing from 6 to 21 per month in just 2 months. Such strong sales have even taken Truframe aback. They had high hopes when signing up, but even they weren’t prepared for the level of demand it has created.
Their customers can now offer ‘A’ rated windows for the same price it previously offered ‘C’ rated windows. This is proving to be incredibly popular with homeowners, along with the wide choice of foiled finishes available. The fact that the profile is completely free of lead is another advantage they can offer which others can’t.
TruFrame’s National Sales Manager, Steve Lane, comments: “We realised we needed to add another system to our portfolio and looked at several profiles. We chose Liniar as we saw the many benefits it offers us with the thermal ratings it can achieve.
“It has a unique flipper gasket which seals the glass unit edge – a big benefit to those companies whose salesmen still demonstrate a window, and lots of other good points that fitters have taken a liking to. Now we are up and running with the Bi-Fold Plus range of doors we are seeing a steady stream of enquires and are bringing new accounts on weekly.
“We have recently added several delivery vehicles to our fleet to cope with the extra demand and will be adding another purpose-designed vehicle for our bi-folds. David Firmager and myself are more than happy with the choice we made and look forward to even more growth for TruFrame in these challenging times.”
