Liniar Windows: More than Just a View

Liniar uPVC Window

Beautiful, elegant and sophisticated, Liniar windows offer stunning views out into the garden, over the horizon and into the sky – but choosing a Liniar window comes with so much more. Over the last decade, there’s been a marked increase in demand for products which were more energy and thermally efficient, as well as more environmentally friendly. Liniar recognises this need and continues to launch products which defy the odds.

More than a decade ago, Liniar changed the way fabricators believed uPVC windows are made with the introduction of their chamfered and sculptured window system. Doing away with unnecessary steel reinforcement and continuing to offer lower U-values with PAS24 and Secured by Design accreditations, made it a game changer.

The Design and Development department at Liniar never lived by the age-old adage of ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!’ and instead launched the EnergyPlus system a short two years later. Offering U-values as low as 1.2 W/m2K with double-glazing and 0.9 W/m2K with triple-glazing, the EnergyPlus system from Liniar continued to raise the bar for energy efficient windows in the UK. Since the launch of these products, the company’s environmental credentials have only grown stronger with their record of ZERO operational wastage, onsite recycling facility and production of 100% recycled outdoor uPVC products.

After nearly ten years of success with Liniar’s standard and EnergyPlus systems, the ground-breaking 90mm Passive House window system was revealed. Not only the king of thermal efficiency, boasting U-values as low as 0.7 W/m2K with triple glazing and 0.5 W/m2K with quadruple glazing, this revolutionary 9-chamber system offers unrivalled noise reduction and security.

So, what does this mean for home and business owners when it comes to saving not only the planet but also their bank balances? Changing old single-pane windows for newer more energy efficient windows can decrease a household’s carbon footprint up to 15% – equivalent to nearly 723 litres of petrol. With the rise in energy costs, saving every little bit helps. One Liniar customer had this to say after replacing his lantern roof with the new Elevate Lantern Roof by Liniar:

“There was such a difference in the thermal efficiency! After we had the Elevate Roof installed, we had to turn the heating down.”

From increasing the comfort of a home or business by keeping it cool in the summer and warm in the winter to improving the value of a property, the benefits of new, energy efficient windows from Liniar are plain to see. With the introduction of the latest new system, the 80mm Flush Sash named Resurgence, which includes a double-rebated weather seal featuring a double co-extruded bubble gasket, we can’t wait to see what else Liniar has up its sleeve for new products in 2019.
