The Right Tools for the Job

Innovation, expertise and cutting-edge products won’t go far for a systems company without a knowledgeable, prepared network of fabricators and installers to manufacture and install their products to specification. Without the assistance of the systems companies, this network is left to fend for itself – which is why providing the tools for the job is essential to a successful business plan. One systems company is doing it right, and it’s the reason why they consistently set high standards for the industry – and that’s Liniar.

We’ve taken a look at how Liniar does things differently and why this works so well for its fabricators and installers. We live in a technological age, and Liniar has embraced it in all its forms.

Literature

While tangible literature in the form of brochures, installation and maintenance guides have typically been printed in the past, with the move towards technology this is now changing. Liniar recognises that this is a new era, which requires a different approach – and that’s why it offers customers access to an online media centre. Within, fabricators and installers can find all the Liniar collateral they need in a digital format.

Installation companies no longer need to keep manuals and brochures in stock to give to home and property owners. The PDF format can easily be downloaded to a tablet or smartphone, then shown or emailed to the customer. For companies who still prefer to work with physical manuals, Liniar also provides those from stock.

Web2Print

Recognising customers like to personalise literature with their own logo and contact details whilst maintaining the most up-to-date content, Liniar implemented a Web2Print feature on its website a few years ago. It allows fabricators and installers to ‘drag and drop’ their logo onto a range of Liniar brochures, then place a print order directly with a specialist printer, delivered to any address.

This easy to use feature gives companies the opportunity to have their own fully branded collateral without having to do all the graphic design themselves. For Liniar, it’s a smart move – this keeps the branding consistent across the range but still provides personalisation for customers.

Videos

In many cases, problems that arise from installations come from incorrect installation techniques. To ensure that installers know exactly how it recommends products are installed, Liniar has a YouTube channel with hundreds of videos featuring different products from the range.

From a short video showing a 30-minute installation of the new Elevate lantern roof to a full-length video with explanations on setup, Liniar ensures that companies which install its products have more than just an installation guide to help them along the process. For installers who fit more than windows, this is an incredibly valuable resource. Installing a bi-fold door isn’t the same as a window, and thus having a visual installation guide to walk you through the process makes sense – and reduces the chance for error and potential costly call-backs.

Discover the Liniar difference at the upcoming FIT Show in May where you can find out how to get your hands on an exclusive Liniar Installer Pack.* Supplies are limited – so get to stand J10 early to grab yours.
