Otium Design & Build create bespoke landscaping using Liniar decking system

The Project

Otium Design and Build is based in the East Midlands. Starting from humble beginnings, the firm has gained a reputation for creating bespoke buildings and refurbishments for clients that require an entirely finished project, including the landscaping.

Commissioned to build a large pond with underground pump room and replace the old deck to extend over the pond creating a bridge and pontoon, Otium needed a decking system that would be both suitable for a high moisture environment and durable.
The complex project required careful planning, a lot of excavation and products that have a long-life span so that it could be built once and last.

The Solution

Liniar decking is the perfect system for high moisture installations, as it is made entirely from extruded PVCu. Anti-slip, strong and durable, Liniar decking boards are quick and easy to install due to the ‘Quick Clip’ fixing system.

When designing the deck to sit directly over water including a decked bridge walkway, I knew that I needed a premium, low-maintenance, anti-slip product that would last for a long time and could be easily installed.
