Safeseal Frames achieves important milestone

With over 40 years’ experience in the fenestration industry, Safeseal Frames Managing Director Phill Pluck knows a thing or two about recognising a great profile system – and three years ago he found a window system he knew would be the one to take his business to the next level: Liniar. Phill explains why he initially made the change and what’s happened since then.

#LoveLiniar

“More than just a catchphrase or a hashtag for social media, at Safeseal Frames we really do love Liniar – and we’re not just saying that,” says Phill.

“It all began in 2017 when I was working with then Avantek Managing Director Nigel Bishop to replace some worn-out machinery. During our discussions, Nigel told me a bit about the Liniar system and put me in touch with the Regional Sales Director for my area, Terry Grant.

“Terry explained why Liniar was so different to anything else out there on the market. For us, it was the little things, such as the drainage feature which is a simple yet incredibly effective design, as well as the PVCu retaining strips which affect the newton of the screws so that even if a window is wrenched, it is still entirely secure.”

Value-added extras

“Sure, the Liniar product range is eco-friendly, easy to fabricate, innovative and offers the exceptional quality that our customers have come to expect –  but Liniar as a company offers much more, helping to explain why we’ve continued to stay with Liniar ever since. Everyone at Liniar – from Terry himself to the person who picks up the phone in order processing – offers the personal touch to every customer. Despite having hundreds of fabricators, the Liniar team really do make you feel like you matter,” comments Phill.

“Liniar offers unrivalled marketing support across a wide range of channels, including making sure we have the materials we need to be successful – whether that’s print brochures or access to their comprehensive media centre with images and videos. Additionally, they’ve offered website advice to help make us stand out online, which has been incredibly helpful this year in particular as digital has become more important than ever.

“But really, a lot of our happiness with Liniar can be attributed to one person, and that’s Terry Grant. He’s been our main Liniar contact from day one and has always made us feel like part of the family. He’s a genuine guy who ensures you know that nothing is ever too much trouble. Guys like Terry are a rare breed in our industry, and he’s a real credit to Liniar.”

Reaching new heights

Over the last three years, Safeseal Frames has seen many positive changes, which Phill says are all thanks to the great team he has, now that they’re settled as a Liniar fabricator.

Before COVID 19, Production Manager Samuel Carpenter began heading up Production, and the company has brought in an influx of qualified staff that care as much as the family does about the product quality and service they provide to customers.

This passion for their products has helped the Safeseal Frames team reach a huge milestone during December – fabricating 100 frames per week.

“While this may not seem like a huge achievement to some of the larger fabricators, it’s something we’re incredibly proud of,” comments Phill.

“I’m not normally one to shout about our achievements, but this year has been a difficult one – and I’m proud of my team. They’ve really stepped up to the plate and ensured that we remained successful despite the challenging circumstances. We’ve come close to hitting this target several times, but we’ve finally done it, and it’s all thanks to the hard work and dedication of our team,” Phill confirms.

Looking ahead

“2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year with the pandemic and the phenomenal demand since then. I have to say that despite the challenges we’ve all faced with supply across the industry, I can’t fault Liniar’s professionalism and communication,” comments Phill.

“Onward and upward – we’re excited to see what the next 12 months will bring!”
