Record Breaking Nominations

More than just kudos for a job well done or yet another addition to the silverware in a company’s trophy cabinet, being a finalist or winner of a business award can help to increase a brand’s credibility, provide avenues to reach new audiences and boost pride in the business for employees.

For industry-leading systems company Liniar, 2019 has already been a record breaking year for award nominations, short listings and finalist positions – and it isn’t over yet.

Group Marketing Director Sue Davenport comments,

“In the past, Liniar has only entered awards unless we had a genuine reason, or something to shout about. This year, with more product launches than ever before, service levels at all-time highs, continued investment and stability in an uncertain marketplace, we felt it was time to garner recognition on behalf of the team who work so hard to achieve all this.”

So far this year, Liniar has been listed as a finalist or winner in several awards including:

• Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards – Manufacturer of the Year
• Derby Telegraph Awards – Apprentice Employer of the Year
• Derby Telegraph Awards – Excellence in Manufacturing
• Made in the Midlands – Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m)
• Midlands Business Awards – Manufacturer of the Year
• Business Leader Awards – Manufacturing Excellence

Recently, the fenestration industry-focused National Fenestration Awards shortlist was announced and Liniar (along with sister company Avantek Machinery) has been listed for a whopping seven awards:

• Aluminium Company – Alumina by Liniar
• Bi-folding Door Manufacturer – Liniat
• Machinery Company – Avantek Machinery
• New Product – Resurgence by Liniar
• PVC Company – Liniar
• Systems Company – Liniar
• Timber Alternative Company – Resurgence by Liniar

Sue continues, “We’re honoured to be shortlisted in so many categories for this year’s NFAs. Being nominated for these awards lets us know we’re doing something right – and with the NFA winners being chosen by our peers within the industry, it means even more than facing a judging panel. The voting process gives each person within our customers, stockists and installers’ companies a chance to participate, in order to vote their favourite company, product or initiative to the top.

“We hope that everyone in the industry pulls together and gets involved in the voting process and we can’t wait to see who wins!”

Voting for the National Fenestration Awards closes on 4th October, so visit http://www.fenestrationawards.co.uk/nfa19/ to cast your vote in one or all of the categories and help choose the winners.

Good luck to all the companies who are shortlisted!
