Lincoln-based bespoke glazing specialists Jackson Windows by Tradeglaze worked closely with the homeowners of this cottage-style property to guide and support them throughout their renovation journey.

Enhancing efficiency while preserving character

The homeowners of this beautiful cottage were keen to significantly improve the energy efficiency of their property while maintaining its traditional character as part of their wider home renovation goals. Their existing timber windows had reached the end of their lifespan, so they were looking for modern, energy-efficient replacements that would complement the home’s heritage appearance.

Following a series of consultations and visits to the Jackson Windows showroom, the Jackson Windows designer specified Liniar’s 80mm Resurgence Flush Casement Window range. The profile offered the authentic flush-sash aesthetic they were looking for, while the system’s double-rebated design delivers excellent thermal performance.

To enhance the exterior of the property, which was built from reclaimed local stone, the homeowners chose a subtle Agate Grey finish, creating an elegant look that complements the property’s character.
