enhanced strength
The Liniar ModLok™ patio system is designed with security in mind. Each set of doors has four bi-directional lock clusters, with eight mushroom-head locking points housed within an aluminium box-section to provide superb rigidity and strength.

ModLok™ Patio Doors FAQs
What are the differences between the ModLok™ patio door and the sliding patio door?
Both Liniar sliding patio doors have been designed to operate smoothly, keep homes free from draughts and leaks and save money on energy bills compared with other systems. Thanks to its modular locking and reinforcement mechanism the ModLok™ version is PAS24 compliant, however, it offers a more limited choice of handle colours and styles. The standard sliding patio door offers fabricators a wider range to choose from, giving homeowners much more choice for personalisation.
What function does the decelerator in the ModLok™ patio door perform?
With many sliding patio door systems, it's possible to pull the doors open quickly, leaving the sliding pane open to crashing into the static door. The ModLok™ system includes a decelerator that actually helps to slow down the velocity of the moving pane before it comes to rest on the hidden crash stop designed into the doors - making it safer to operate.
Does the ModLok™ patio door offer a wheelchair-friendly threshold option?
Absolutely. There are 5 threshold options to choose from, one of which is the Part M low threshold, designed to be accessible and wheelchair-friendly.
Is the ModLok™ patio door easy to use?
The ModLok™ patio door offers a smooth and light gliding motion, facilitated by its heavy-duty acetal roller and making the sliding pane easy to operate.
Can I coordinate the ModLok™ patio door with windows?
Certainly! The ModLok™ patio door is available in various colours and finishes that can be matched with other Liniar sculptured products such as 70mm windows and bi-folding doors.
