Liniar secures £1m decking kit deal with Hoburne Holidays
The successful launch of Liniar decking kits has led to a potential £1m per year deal with a prestigious chain of holiday parks.
Hoburne Holidays, with seven parks in the south of England, provides traditional holidays and holiday home ownership for families and couples of all ages in beautiful surroundings.
A policy of continual reinvestment and improvement to provide the very highest standards in facilities, accommodation and service has brought about the deal with Liniar to supply decking kits.
Having previously purchased Liniar decking by bar length, Hoburne was familiar with the quality of the product. Once Liniar launched decking in kit format, the convenience factor led them to seek a longer term deal.
“Hoburne approached us after hearing about our decking kits,” explains Mark Cartwright, Regional Sales Director for Liniar’s outdoor range. “They’ve got their own in-house installation teams so it’s the ideal product for them.
“We provided them with a trial deck to install which proved a great success. Our Technical Production Manager, Daryl Fradley, also made a few small modifications to the system after listening to feedback, as well as spending time with Hoburne Decking’s four installation teams to provide training.
Hoburne placed an initial order for five kits and have been quoted for a further five, three for caravans, one for the sales office at its Bashley resort and another for an exhibition deck to use at trade shows.
The deal is expected to lead to Hoburne purchasing eight kits per week once up and running, which will amount to approximately £1m per year.
