Not at all. The mechanisms used allow it to move easily, with safety catches to prevent children from operating the moving pane.
If I choose reversible windows for my home, can I have a matching door?
As the reversible window features a chamfered (flat) bead, you could select a chamfered ModLok residential, French or Bi-folding door to match.
Do Liniar reversible windows include the patented, co-extruded bubble gasket?
Yes. Liniar's unique, patented co-extruded bubble gasket is included in every EnergyPlus frame to ensure supreme weather performance. A continuous seal runs around each frame, even in the corners, helping to keep your windows draught and leak free.
How many chambers do Liniar uPVC reversible windows have?
Liniar reversible windows are made from EnergyPlus profiles and include 7 chambers inside the frames, which trap in pockets of warm air to keep your home at an even temperature. The frames can accommodate either double or triple glazed units.
Are Liniar reversible windows secure while open?
Yes - as the locking mechanism won't fully open until the safety catch is released, Liniar reversible windows remain secure while allowing ventilation. They are also compatible with PAS24 Security accreditation for peace of mind.
