Window and door accreditations

As Head of Testing here at Liniar, it’s my job to make sure that everything the tech-bots design is made to the very highest standards. Basically, I like to test things to destruction. So far I've broken my arm and now my wrist... but never a Liniar product! I'm a robot, so its in my programming to be a perfectionist. There is no chance I would ever allow any sub-standard products to go on sale - but I don’t expect you to just take my word that everything we produce is perfect. That’s why we get everything accredited by independent bots at various quality control organisations, giving our customer-bots peace of mind that they will be getting nothing but the best. So, here are a few accreditations that you might see as you're looking through the Liniar website, with explanations of what each one means.

Secured by DesignBacked by the police-bots. Secured by Design status is awarded to products that essentially "design out crime!" Products that qualify to hold this certification are tested to meet the requirements of the Association of Chief Police Officers. |

BBAThe BBA (British Board of Agrement) is the UK’s major authority-bot offering approval of construction products, systems and installers. A BBA certificate means that the claims made by the tech-bots at Liniar are warranted and that the products comply with regulations and meet expectations.Their certificates are recognised by architect-bots, engineer-bots and specifier-bots. |

BS EN ISO 9001:2008This is the 'British Standard' designed to ensure we bots at Liniar continue to provide strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement By continuing to meet this standard, our customer-bots benefit from consistently great products and service. |

PAS 24:2012This accreditation is another 'British Standard' and shows the product has been subjected to a series of tests for enhanced security performance, air and water tightness and wind loading - phew! Fun fact: The logo to the left is associated with this accreditation; sometimes it will have a number underneath starting with "KM5220". If this ends in 39 it's for windows and 40 means doors! |

BS EN 12608:2003This is the standard for the "quality, consistency and performance required for uPVC extruded hollow profiles". In other words, we test our PVC profiles regularly to make sure they meet the highest standards - which in turn ensures your windows and doors are top quality! |
And there we have it. Not only are Liniar products 'tested by robot' but they're backed by the schemes above too. If you go onto each product and scroll down to the "explore" sections on each page, you can see the different accreditations that product has been awarded. At Liniar we are always putting products through their paces, so our accreditations are always being updated. Personally, I'd like a "Tested by Mark II" badge to be added... Until next time! Mark II
P.S. It's Halloween this weekend, so I've been a busy bot today! I had a day off testing, penned my blog and then carved my very own pumpkin! Here's the end result :)
