Garden leave over for Martin Saunders

Martin has vast experience of the industry having formerly been Sales Director at Eurocell, and joins Liniar following the completion of his contractual period of garden leave.

Commenting on his new appointment Martin states that “he is absolutely delighted to be joining the most innovative company in the uPVC extrusion industry in the UK, and to have at his disposal such a fantastic range of products.

It is a new challenge for me and I cannot wait to make some real inroads into taking the company forward even further”.

Martin’s appointment is the latest piece in the Liniar jigsaw as the company continues on its planned growth path and is a part of a wider re-structuring of the whole of the Liniar sales team which will see the existing sales team given increased responsibility for managing their existing customers, new business prospects, and overall area performance.

Speaking for Liniar Managing Director Roger Hartshorn stated

“when you look at where we have come from and what our sales team have achieved in the last four years it is only right and proper that they are rewarded with additional responsibility.

We have seen what they can achieve, and we trust them to take the business forward. They have thoroughly earned this opportunity”.

Existing Sales Managers Ken Allen and Tony Basile also become Regional Directors while Howard Hirst remains as overall Sales Director for the company.

In addition to his involvement with profile sales Tony Basile will also continue to develop sales for the Zoom Liniar conservatory roof system.
