Liniar team takes part in the #GMF100 Cycling Challenge
As part of its commitment to providing help throughout the wider community, Liniar is proud to have a team taking part in this year’s GM Fundraising Cycling Challenge!
The cycling team, put together by Product Design Manager Tom Roberts, includes eight team members from across all areas of the business. On Sunday, 8th August at 7am, the team will set off from Liniar’s HQ in Denby, Derbyshire with the aim of cycling 100 miles in a single day.
The GMF100 Cycling Challenge is an industry-wide appeal by GM Fundraising to raise funds for Hope House Children’s Hospices – a much-loved charity helping to look after extremely sick children and ensuring that no parent has to face the death of a child on their own.
The Liniar team has so far raised over three-quarters of their initial target - with Liniar as a company supporting by paying the entry fee and providing meals and snacks on the day, as well as matching the funds raised.
Each of the teams participating in the event has planned their own routes across the country in order to avoid congestion and to ensure a safe, socially distanced event during these challenging times.
